Boerse Stuttgart is Germany’s biggest floor trading venue for exchange-traded products (ETPs). Investors can buy and sell the full range of ETPs admitted for trading in Germany from 8:00 through to 22:00 hours CET. ETP is the overarching term used for all the passive securities that can be traded on the exchange, such as exchange-traded funds (ETFs), exchange-traded commodities (ETCs) and exchange-traded notes (ETNs).
The majority of exchange-traded products are ETFs. While these index-based funds are classed as fund assets, ETCs and ETNs are classed for legal purposes as debt instruments.
