At Boerse Stuttgart, investors can trade in a wide range of actively managed funds – from 8:00 through to 22:00 hours CET and with no front-end load (also referred to as ‘issue premium’). A market maker and trading experts are responsible for ensuring that there is sufficient liquidity so that orders can be executed promptly at fair market prices.
Through the purchase of a unit in a fund, the investor acquires a share in the assets of an investment management company. These fund assets are managed by a fund manager and are invested in different assets such as equities, debt instruments (bonds) and/or property based on the structure of the investment fund. Investors share in the growth of the investment fund in line with the proportion of units they own. The fund assets are legally segregated from the assets of the investment management company so that investors’ capital is protected in the event of insolvency prior to the claims of the investment management company or other creditors.
