About Freiverkehr Plus
Freiverkehr Plus is a trading segment for the equities of medium-sized enterprises listed on the open market (also referred to as regulated unofficial market) at Boerse Stuttgart. In order to qualify for this segment, companies have to meet publication and transparency criteria that go beyond the standard rules for the open market. In addition to annual and interim financial statements and a corporate calendar, these companies are expected to make quasi ad hoc announcements available on Boerse Stuttgart’s website. This gives investors a clearer picture on which to base their assessments and investment decisions.
Equities listed in the Freiverkehr Plus segment can be traded continuously between 8.00 and 22.00 hours CET. As soon as orders are received by Boerse Stuttgart’s electronic trading system, they are automatically and continuously checked to ensure they are executable. Provided this check is successful, orders are then executed based on the usual quality standards. In electronic trading, price determination is supported by the quality liquidity provider (QLP).
