The North American Pharmaceutical segment focuses on distribution of branded, generic, specialty, biosimilar and over-the-counter pharmaceutical drugs to customers in U.S. and Canada. The Oncology and Multispecialty segment includes provision of solutions that includes specialty drug distribution, group purchasing organizations, infusion services, direct to patient pharmacy capabilities, InspiroGene cell and gene therapy services, technology solutions, practice consulting services, and vaccine distribution. The RxTS segment focuses on solving medication access, affordability, and adherence challenges for patients by working across healthcare to connect patients, pharmacies, providers, pharmacy benefit managers, health plans, and biopharma companies. The Medical-Surgical Solutions segment provides medical-surgical supply distribution, logistics, and other services to healthcare providers. The company was founded by John McKesson and Charles Olcott in 1833 and is headquartered in Irving, TX.
