Company profile
MVV Energie AG engages in the production and distribution of energy and the provision of energy utility services. It operates through the following business segments: Customer Solutions, New Energies, Generation and Infrastructure, and Other Activities. The Customer Solutions segment focuses on retail, business, and commodities. The New Energies segment comprises environmental energy, wind and biomethane, as well as project development. The Generation and Infrastructure segment includes a generation portfolio for conventional energies with CHP and parts of green heat infrastructure. The Other Activities segment consists of shared-service companies and cross-divisional functions that specialize in the metering, billing, and information technology services. The company was founded in 1873 and is headquartered in Mannheim, Germany.
