It operates through the following segments: Company-Managed Retail Activities and Business-to-Business segments. The Company-Managed Retail Activities segment sells a consistent range of fresh bakery goods, sandwiches, and drinks in its own shops and via delivery. The Business-to-Business segment is involved in the products to franchise and wholesale partners for sale in their own outlets as well as charging a license fee to franchise partners. The company was founded by John Gregg in 1930 and is headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne, the United Kingdom.
