The Commercial segment incorporates all of the Bank's financial intermediation and fees generated by the commercial portfolio. The Treasury segment handles the deposits in banks and all of its trading assets, securities available-for-sale, and held-to-maturity, and the balance of the investment funds. The company was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in Panama City, Panama.
