The Real Estate Debt and Other Real Estate Investments segment refers to specific and general allowance for credit losses, gains and losses associated with debt extinguishment, and gains and losses associated with sales of CMBS bonds and divestment of trading securities. The Agency Business segment focuses on the allowance for loss sharing provision, gains and losses associated with sales of Agency loans, gains and losses related to movements in the fair value of forward sale commitments, and provisions and benefits on taxable income. The Conduit segment is involved in gains and losses associated with fair value measurements and securitizations or sales of held for sale loans, fair value measurements and terminations of derivative instruments, and provisions and benefits on taxable income. The Real Estate Owned segment relates to gains and losses associated with other real estate investments resulting from foreclosure or sale. The company was founded on November 15, 2012 and is headquartered in New York, NY.
