Hoenle AG engages in the development, manufacture, and sale of light-emitting diode ultraviolet products. It operates through the following segments: Equipment and Systems, Adhesives, and Glass and Lamps. The Equipment and Systems segment offers UV products that are used for drying inks and coatings, curing adhesives and plastics, disinfecting surfaces, and sunlight simulation. The Adhesives segment develops, produces, and sells adhesives. The Glass and Lamps segment includes the development, production, and sale of tubing and semi-finished goods made of quartz glass as well as the manufacture of UV medium-pressure and low-pressure lamps. The company was founded by Karl Hönle and Günter Schmid in 1976 and is headquartered in Gilching, Germany.
