The Phosphates segment is involved in the ownership and operation of mines and production facilities which produce concentrated phosphate crop nutrients and phosphate-based animal feed ingredients, and processing plants which produce concentrated phosphate crop nutrients. The Potash segment includes mining, processing, and selling potash. The Mosaic Fertilizantes segment focuses on mines, chemical plants, crop nutrient blending and bagging facilities, port terminals, and warehouses. The company was founded on March 25, 2004 and is headquartered in Tampa, FL.
