FX Plus

You can trade bonds denominated in foreign currency continuously via us.

Since 16.04.2018, trading participants have the possibility to choose to settle foreign currency bond transactions not only in Euro but also in the currency of nominal value.

You should pay attention to a few things:

  1. Trading in foreign currency bonds with settlement in euros
In the case of foreign currency bonds, the nominal value always refers to the foreign currency. For example, a smallest tradable unit of 1,000 in US dollar currency means that an order placed for this amount, at an assumed Euro exchange rate of 1.30, is equivalent to approximately 769 € (1000 / 1.3 = 769.23 €).

  2. Trading of foreign currency bonds with settlement in the nominal currency
  • Trading participants who want to trade in the nominal currency must have a foreign currency account. Trading then takes place without any additional conversion costs.

  • This service is provided on the second technical trading platform FXplus (stock exchange symbol: XSTF). This new platform offers all known previous functionalities such as the different order types and validity rules.

  • FXplus supports all currencies that can be settled via Clearstream. These are currently the following currencies: AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, CZK, DKK, GBP, HKD, HUF, JPY, MXN, NOK, NZD, PLN, RUB, SEK, SGD, TRY, USD, ZAR
